A bit of history

Phase 1: An idea is released

Rainer is a perfectionist, but at the same time a realist with a view to what can be implemented. In his company AV design house, he developed many technical innovations for his film productions, such as Steady Cam tripods, a large film camera crane, but also smaller useful things like Wall mounts for professional loudspeakers for BOSE, which to date are among the AV design house are related. In addition to the technical developments, he produced advertising and image films as well as records for and with different artists. One of his best-known in-house productions is “Gütersloher Nachtsanggeläut”, which is very popular among audio enthusiasts due to its high purity and dynamics is appreciated. Many of his colleagues admired the technique that Rainer used specifically for this recording had developed. In 2000 Rainer sold his recording and video studio and wanted to retire. And then came everything different. It all started with Rainer and his obsession with making the best record drive build anything you can imagine. In 2008 he bought a high-precision tool milling machine with a digital display, a lid FP-2 with everything necessary accessories. With this milling machine Rainer manufactured, in loving small and detailed work, every single part and thus built the first prototype of his drive, the Dereneville VPM-2010. Rainer chose the name Dereneville, which adorns the first drive and later the company, in honor of his Mrs. Irene, who patiently supported him and later also Hannes and HB all these years and with her inspired comments. The Dereneville VPM-2010 was a mechanical masterpiece until 2008 and ran with the 25kg heavy Platter completely silent on the frictionless magnetic bearing. But without a perfect one drive and without a sophisticated control system, nothing moved.

Phase 2: A team is found

At this point Rainer and Hannes met. Both quickly noticed their common Passion for technology and music, as well as the inner drive to create something special. Hannes develops larger software projects both professionally and in his free time web applications and shares this passion for perfect and unusual things. The ideas were just bubbling up, and it quickly became clear that the project would not be possible for two in the foreseeable future can be reached. Hannes spoke to his colleague Hans Bernhard about the project, which is due to enthusiastic about his passion for technology and music. He is a member of one about the well-known choir beyond national borders. He immediately joins the project.

Phase 3: All good things became a reality with three persons.

The mechanical, electronic and software components arrived very quickly in this first Drive a presentable stand. It was at trade fairs in Krefeld and Munich presented to the interested public. Editors of various relevant audio Trade journals visited us in Lippstadt or tested the drive in their own editorial office. In the trade press, the Dereneville team was also "lovingly" referred to as the three musketeers. Friends and like-minded people have also found other names. What they all have in common is that they are at least tending to be correct and... we take them as a compliment. Today, after 10 years Working together, we have put together a vivid and very impressive range of products placed. Fascinating world innovations and globally unique products.

Today: We are Dereneville

A small German manufactory in which we manufacture 80% of all components in-house. We only think in this way to meet the demand for precision and individuality safely and at the same time be flexible and to be able to react quickly to our customers' requests. Therefore, the parts that we cannot manufacture ourselves due to the size are made according to ours custom-made to exact specifications in the nearby WfB* or a local CNC lathe shop. This is how we ensure the high quality standards that we demand of ourselves every day, at all times, and we support the local entrepreneurs here on site.
